Publish an event & Stripe Connect payouts

Before you publish paid tickets

Every paid event needs an active Stripe Connect Express account with charges enabled.

1. Open Event → Settings → Payout account
2. Choose an existing Connect account (Media Hub, Giving, or another event) or create new
3. Complete Stripe onboarding (identity, bank details)
4. Wait for status active — the dashboard blocks publish until then

Free-only events can publish without Connect.

Per-event accounts

Each event can use its own Connect account — useful when co-promoters or transport operators need separate payouts.

After publish

• Public URL: https://www.ticketingbook.com/e/{slug}
• Checkout runs on the connected account with platform application fees
• Webhooks fulfil orders automatically — registrations flip to confirmed/paid

Troubleshooting

• Publish button disabled — Connect not active or ticket types missing
• Checkout error — reconnect Stripe or verify charges_enabled in Settings
